And So It Begins ...

The other day, my daughter begins to draw on my whiteboard in the office. When she finished, this is what she drew ...

And so the Christmas Season begins in the Guadagna household!

She's already marked up the Target Toy Catalog that came in the mail last week. I remember when I was a kid, we'd get the Sear's Wish Book in October or November. This was a thick catalog (at least 2") filled with toys, games and clothes. All the siblings would fight over who got the catalog first and begin writing out their Christmas Wish List to give to our Mom. We'd spend days pouring over it's numerous pages to find just the right toy.

We'd also spend days just before Christmas cleaning our rooms to make room for all the new toys and games we'd be getting.

Good times indeed.

Nowadays, the Sear's Wish Book is an antiquated object given our Green-leanings and all the online wishlist sources. With Target, Walmart, Amazon and every specialty store having Black Friday specials and their own Holiday ad slicks, who needs one!
